I had been searching for a good-looking recycling bin to go in my new kitchen for a while, and on paper this seemed to fit the bill. Don't get me wrong, it still looks good, but I am note convinced it is great value for money. For example, the manufacturer claims that this has a quiet closing lid, but it seems the same as any old pedal bin lid to me ie not very quiet!! Also the lid doesn't have a 'stay open' facility and the angle of the lid opening once the pedal is depressed is quite low, making it harder to scrape leftovers in etc. As for the three separate bins, these are okay and easy to remove for emptying.
