Fallout is not perfect, what is, but it's definitely in the top three role playing games of all time. Personally I, and many others, would put it in the top slot. What makes it so good is that it can be played in many different ways with many different type of characters. You can decide what kind of role you wish to play, and the game will not force you to solve every problem by killing things regardless. (which the majority of RPG's do) The world is well fleshed out and internally consistent which gives an incredible atmosphere. With many different ways to play and choices to make it's a very replayable game. I bought this game some time ago and I'm far from tired of it so it's been well worth the money. You can sculpt your own region with mountains, lakes, rivers and rolling hills. Large bodies of water attract whales which was a wonderful surprise! Onto this you can scatter forests and herds of animals. Make a mountain lake and scatter trees and wild animals around. Now zoom in and you see eagles flying over the lake - it's truly stunning! Making a complex region can take time and it can be frustrating but take time to look at the Maxis site and check out some of the recommended fan sites. Hubby bought a PS3 a few weeks ago along with the usual warfare games which being female are not for me. Got the free trial download for Prostreet Need for Speed and I decided to have a go and enjoyed it so much we bought the game. Now I am completely hooked. I just love the challenges, trying to win the races, trying not to damage the car. I really feel my adrenalin going and my heart racing. We also bough Gran Turismo but I cannot get into that yet and find it quite boring. I need my life back though as I cannot tear myself away from the PS3 and Need for Speed. Next thing is a wheel as the PS3 controls are quite difficult. Problem with a wheel though is you need a stand?

The game would not load. There was extra instuctions about changing your virtual memory on your pc in order to play the game but to no avail. My PC is top notch and plays everything else available but it won't play this game! What the hell is a swap file anyway??? What is the point of making a game that won't play on decent spec computers? Unfortunately I have thrown away my amazon receipt, so I can't even send it back......probably.

Over a period of time I have kept putting it off and putting it off but, eventually and with some trepidation(see some of the other reviews)I finally bought the Rail Simulator. I wish I hadn't! The manual was anything but helpful, the game(?)was appalling, the sounds dreadful. It was almost impossible to find advice and guidance and in the 3.8 GB of space it takes up the makers could have done much, much better. Then to play the game one has to keep the disc in all the time one is playing!. That is a definite no-no. So, when my patience was exhausted yet another real hurt came when I was trying to uninstall - it takes nearly an hour!! What a total waste of money. I have bought far more superior rail ... A very good program, which I love using - but there are issues. Minor fault Some of the lower ranked 'opponants' on the program make some very strange moves - for example, sacrificing the Queen for no reason at all - when they are winning. This turns the game around immediately. Major fault ...... The program sometimes calls a stalemate - (thus ending the game) when it is clearly not a stalemate. Quite often, this happens just as I'm about to call an extremely obvious checkmate. Having said that, I would still recommend this program.

This is a great game for all those who love the Mahjong games. So many different layouts. The only negative is that the tiles don't have the numbers etc written on them. But hey, that makes it more challenging!You will enjoy it.
