Garfield animated exercises catch attention of kids (my sister is 12 years old) and even I and my colleagues had fun to try it. Contains exercises of single letters as for letter combinations and an error counting tool to follow your activity as for example editing a normal text document, so at next program launch you are suggested to practice one particular instead of others.

Incredible game! Amazing, you feel in the game, it's got OK graphics, you can change your views so you feel like the driver. The cool lego brick world, you can totally blow up! But, as soon as Lego Racers 2 came out, I've compared the two, and Lego Racers 2 is 101 times worse than the original! Buy this cheap game, but only buy no. 2 if you want to put the gamer off LR. Hopes this helps

My eight year old daughter needed some extra coaching in mental maths as they call it these days. Not being very good at it myself I was recommended this package as something that would help her. It works on the idea of converting maths problems into an alien type shoot em up closely modelled on the classic space invaders. I wouldn't say that it's my daughter's favourite thing in the world to be doing, but she enjoys it more than sitting at the table while someone fires problems at her head. After the initial grumbling she can get fairly immersed in it, and has even, on the odd occasion gotten rather competitive. I would say that her maths skills are improving, so it's doing what it says on the tin, which is surely a good thing.

I guess the appeal of this game is a little why real lego has never really go out of fashion. No matter how many new fangled toys my children seem to have, no matter how flash and electronic they seem to be, soon or later I know I'll hear the familiar sound of the lego box being tipped up and out, as what seems like a million or so brightly coloured bricks go flying all over the room. We originally had this software title when our computer was running Windows 98 and it provided hours of fun for the children and they spent hours building intricate and delicate virtual lego models, only to then take great delight in blowing them all up again.
