Purchased PSE 6 some 3 weeks ago and as at todate have been unble to access package either via desk top icon or through start menu. It appears this is a problem if Vista is your operating package. Unfortunetly neither Amazon or Adobe advertise this. Have emailed Adobe 3 times and yet very little response. So if anybody knows of a way of getting it to work with Vista please let me and other know.

loads of special effects etc, but it slows your computer down big time, also their semms to be no facility to delete photos & no explanation on how to do it, very complicated.

Photoshop CS3 is wonderful and a real joy to use. We were not naive enough to feel it could run on an older less powerful machine. We purchased a new PC especially to run Photoshop CS3, with a lot of memory and running XP Professional, and have hardly anything else running on this machine so that other software does not clutter things up etc. CS3 loaded very easily. After installing the upgrades - 260MB - we started to use it for our day to day image processing. You download your images directly from your card into Bridge and then open them as RAW files. I have used this for a couple of years now and rely on it for all my photo needs. It is truly a fantastic program. The cataloguing function enables you to find any photo within seconds. I have approx 16,000 photos in my computer and this program has them all tagged for instant retrieval. The editing functions enable you to do pretty much anything and would be all you could want unless you are a professional. Its worth getting a book to help with the more advanced functions if you want to experiment.

I have just upgraded to Office 2007 but find myself still using 2003 Pro. Why? It's just that good. The layout is by far the best out of all the office products, and the menu driven system allows you to create very professional work with little input. There are even templates and wizards to help you along the way. All the major office programs are here except FrontPage, which most people wouldn't use anyway, unless into web design. Overall, I have given it 5 stars as it is the best value for money as well as being a very complete office package. Recommended!

Do you have a uni undergraduate in your household. If so, get this : the mother of photo software. If you are a student why not buy it now. You can use if after you graduate in your work. Many employers these days insist that people have proper licences for software.

I am a football and celebrity events photographer and can do anything up to 500 images a game/event. These images need to be sorted, checked, altered and sent out as soon as possible after the game. I have used Lightroom and currently am trying out Lightroom 2 Beta, after I could not get on with the first Aperture due to its slow uploading capabilities. However, Aperture 2 knocks the socks off Lightroom including the new Beta version. The other major factor which influences me to go with Aperture 2 over Lightroom is the tethered camera options. If I tether my camera and use lightroom I need to use both Canon's and Nikon's software to upload in the first instance then download into Lightroom. I brought this product a couple of months ago, I make cards for all my family and friends and they all love the home made cards I have designed. I was quite suprised to get version 7 instead of version 6 but its got to a bonus as its a newer version - no complaints!
