I thought this program was really bad. Hard to navigate and does not really have any set programs to work through to achieve anything. Would not reccomend.

With this being from the AA I thought it would cover Castilian Spanish (for mainland Spain) but it infact covers Latin American Spanish (confirmed by AA themselves). Despite this it has good features, lively dialogues and videos make the learning experience very enjoyable but only buy if you are more advanced and want to learn a South American dialect.

That's the French equivalent of "a pig in a poke", which is what this CD-ROM is. I didn't learn that from the software though - in fact you probably won't learn any French at all from this package, as you'll likely bin it in frustration after a few minutes like I did. Horrible graphics, meaningless videos, no "lesson" structure whatsoever, and a ghastly icon-driven interface make for an extremely annoying piece of software. A terrible way to attempt to learn French. Like a previous reviewer, I was lulled by the AA logo into thinking that this might be OK (as the AA's books are generally pretty good). Big mistake! The moral of the story is, don't buy software on impulse without checking Amazon user reviews first. Avoid!

Absolute garbage, dont bother buying this product unless you know the spanish grammar rules and vocabulary already. There is a section on grammar and vocab but you might as well read it all from a spanish-english dictionary as thats all you are doing here.

I'm sorry to say i wasn't overly impressed with this software,the AA should stick to breakdowns! i wanted to see reallife pictures and all you get is artist drawings which don't really look much like the real thing,buy a book and save your money!

The software is very easy to load and the instructions clear. It has proved a very useful direction finder and is useful for sending instructions of how to find places. It could do with a little more detail on the maps as they are very dull to look at. It could do with a few more options on journey planning to allow a little more variety.
