I bought this package to compliment my McAfee anti virus and firewall ( which i do rate highly) believing that a big name company could tackle the problem. I had previously installed the free ad-aware from lavasoft package, (knowing fine well that this was in itself poor anti spyware software), and decided to test the McAfee. After I ran the McAfee I ran the ad-aware to find nineteen cookies. I came onto the amazon web site and it welcomed me back, both hadn't removed the amazon cookie. I then installed the bullet proof anti spyware to find another 120 cookies and four dialers, lucky I'm on broadband. The package says it removes everything but to be honest I think its rubbish.

Having used both systems in protecting my laptop i cannot really decide which is best because both have served me with honours. At the moment i am being protected by McAfees full Internet security and i like the fact that you can check for virus and firewall protection independantly. I foolishly allowed my free trial of Norton to expire having bought a dell laptop.If you have been hit with one massive virus which totally corrupts your computer you will realise how important it is to have full protection. It cost me £84 to have a sick computer completely wiped clean,reprogrammed and with a memory increase,thats right even my computers brain was effected.Had i bought either Norton or the equally accomplished ...
