I have just upgraded to Office 2007 but find myself still using 2003 Pro. Why? It's just that good. The layout is by far the best out of all the office products, and the menu driven system allows you to create very professional work with little input. There are even templates and wizards to help you along the way. All the major office programs are here except FrontPage, which most people wouldn't use anyway, unless into web design. Overall, I have given it 5 stars as it is the best value for money as well as being a very complete office package. Recommended!

I got Ultimate Upgrade as an offer of £30 when buying a laptop from Amazon. Let's be clear I would not have paid the full price or anywhere near the full price, so my review is based on a purchase price of £30 only. I have replaced my Desktop XP operating system with Vista Ultimate as the laptop came with Vista Premium, good enough for me. The upgrade from XP on the desktop to Ultimate was pretty simple, although you do have to read the instructions as they come up and follow the advice about what drivers are needed to be downloaded (not run) before upgrading, for me this was Linksys Network Adapter and a Canon printer driver, simple enough. This suppplier is trading under false pretences. The order has been knocked back twice because it's not in stock. It should not be on the Amazon web-site because they can't supply it and it is simply there as a loss-leader to get you on the web-site which, quite coincidentally, is just rubbish as the links and searches don't work. Just rubbish - and I leave the reader to put in the four letter words one would like to use. Honestly, it's giving Amazon a bad name because mostly this is a good reliable site but Amazon must chuck these rascals back where they came from.

It looks good but not the same as before so there is some relearning required. But the biggest surprise of all is that it is frustratingly slow. I have iWorks but bought this because my wife kept saying that MS office was better, but even she now admits it's not. Only buy this if you absolutely have to, or if you have more patience than me.
