I must admit I didn't look too closely at the compatibility when I bought this off Amazon. For goodness'sake, this thing is only compatible with machines several years old. I think it's a bit misleading of Amazon not to point out that this won't work on any machine you will have purchased in the last few years. And you can't run it in a previous-compatibility mode since that doesn't seem to work either. Waste of money.

If you have ever looked (as I Have) for kids software that is not all 'shoot 'em up', but will still keep children interested, then this is it. The excellant graphics & animations, along with the narration of the complete story will keep most children enthralled for hours. The game can be played by listening to a part of the story (or reading without the narration)and then acting on this back in the game view. Runs on Windows XP too! An absolute bargain, buy it for your kids, or for yourself

This CD-Rom is excellent!!! I have had it for a while and have noticed that it is mainly girls between the ages of 8 and 12 who want to play with it. The game has all of the main characters from the early seasons of Sabrina, including Drell and Libby, all of whose voices can be heard in the game. The game is mainly about how Sabrina declares her love for Harvey and with the help of Salem tries to do a spell that will keep them together forever. However, because Sabrina is interrupted she gets changed into something else and it is up to the player to find the ingredients needed to get her back to normal. This excellent software is aimed at 7-12 year olds; it kept my 9 year old occupied for many hours at intervals and after some months elapsed time she advised me she had finally "completed" it. I note she has returned since however, often with her friends. As a parent I like the software because it is essentially 'problem solving' although some manual dexterity is required. It is visually attractive, combining graphics with real actors to make a virtual world which is both magical and worth detailed exploration; it has no raucous sound effects; mindless hitting of keyboard or waving of mouse have no effect; nothing is acheived without logical thought. I first played this game at the age of around 10, and I found it very fun and quite challenging. At that age I shied away from CD Roms I found difficult and this is probably the only one I ever completed. It's engaging and although the sound bytes get quite repetitive, it's a thoroughly enjoyable game. I am now 16 and I spent a nostalgic day going through my old CD Roms and playing them. I just spent a good hour playing Brat Attack, and although now I find it easy, it's still fun. I also recommend the other Sabrina CD Rom, Spellbound, because although it is far less in depth than Brat Attack it is very fun for young girls. The game doesn't run entirely smoothly on XP (although the version I have is for 95/98, I don't know if it's been updated). ... Read More:
