This is a great little piece of kit for the money. It's relatively easy to use (although the lack of written instructions make it a bit daunting to start with), and allows you to create wonderful designs. I've been particularly pleased with its ability to convert pictures, but be warned they can be quite big. I would advise that you buy a shade card as well, from one of the main silk manufactures like DMC, as it allows you check the shade the computer is suggesting against the real thing.

This product advertises 8 activities. One of these is 'meet the characters', an 'activity' where you hover your mouse over the characters and a written description of them appears. Not much use for all but the most precocious three-year-old, and hardly an interesting activity even for a child who can read. Another is a colouring activity ... where you select a picture, print it off, and off goes the child to colour it in. Except they don't, because when a child wants a go on the computer, that's what they want, not colourin. Computer colouring is great for little ones who haven't the precision yet for proper colouring, so this misses the trick. My laptop graphics drivers were corrupted once I installed this software. I recommend that you DO NOT install this software. I have Vista and the software support site recommends installation of Vista Service Pack 1. The app only ran for about 10 seconds and then the screen went black. Once I logged in safe mode and completed a system restore my laptop is now working. I'm sending this software back.

Having previously had family tree maker 2006 I was looking forward to recieving the 2008 version - :-( Big disappointment - Try as I might I cannot get it to connect to the internet Waste of money!!!

this caused massive problems for us when installing it on a 4 system mini network (4 PC's) and on a laptop - see my full review on upgrade 5 users version. Treat with caution. Its caused us lots of stress

There are so many expensive poor quality offerings in the childrens games market, its refreshing to find a title that's as good as this one. Our pre-school children love Bob's Castle Adventure. The voices are familiar, the graphics are superb, navigation is very easy, and the range of activities is very generous... there must be close to 15 different games to play. Strongly recommended for pre-school children.

this is one of the only games nowadays that is a real challange. it is a world of its own. the thought that has to go into it to make it work correctly is amazing. 3 to 4 years ago i got this game. it takes time to finish each mission. the ad on missions are tough. if your a player that wants a real challange have a go. you will be still playing it for months if not years

Myst III was actually the first out of the series i played. I must admit when i first looked at it i wasn't sure what to do with it and i left it. Then one day i thought to have another look and discovered a puzzle. I say discovered because it wasnt the most obvious. That started me thinking and soon i got so into it that i couldn't wait to get back from work to discover more. I think this is one of the best games i have played and the graphics are amazing. If you like to solve things rather then shoot everything that moves then you should definately try this game.

The game was too short and had glitches/bugs towards the end. Shame, because I love CSI and expected this game to be better than it was.
