Well, first thing to say is that Virtual PC works. I've got a fully operational version of XP Pro sitting quite happily on my PowerBook, running a host of native Windows software without a murmur. I can read CDs and switch data between formats without batting an eyelid - quite an improvement on the bad old days when running a Mac meant effectively being cut off from civilisation!

The downside is that you shouldn't expect lightening performance for running your latest video games; the system resources allocated by default mean this is a serviceable Windows environment, but no more than that. Even running two comparatively small applications leaves XP running at the pace of cold treacle. I've also had trouble in getting the printer ... Read More:
