This is a fantastic product. I imagined something extremely basic for the price, so was amazed at the different features available. It is extremely easy to import photo files of various types - within seconds you see them as cross stich patterns, which you can edit (i.e. delete out confusing shadows or undesirable lines). It's also nice starting from scratch with your own pattern. Adding block after block in 99 different colours is a great way to doodle a pattern, and is very addictive. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cross stitch designer program.

I am starting a small business and was shocked by the quotes of about 2 grand I was getting just to design a simple five page website to lend my start up some credibility. In the end I thought sod it, I'll just teach myself and ended up getting webplus 10. I had a rough couple of days working my way through the manual, having never had any experience at doing anything like designing a website. However, by the end of the third day I had a professional looking flash graphic website up and running. The business emails began flooding in and now it looks like this business is a real goer, all thanks to this great little web design package. I have used both Lotus SmartSuite and Microsoft Office in various versions for well over a decade. Both suites are incredibly powerful but for me the application which really makes the difference between the two is Lotus Approach. I first discovered with brilliant software when it was in its first version, before it became part of SmartSuite. I have used it as a development platform for a wide range of applications for all sorts of clients from lawyers to catering suppliers and from CRM applications to invoicing. Like some of the posters above I feel completely cheated with the Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. I could not get it to work on Dell PC which was pre-set with Vista so went on to my other Dell PC which has XP. When scanning documents using an Epson DX4400 printer/scanner if I quickly click on the the scan tab on screen I might be lucky and get the scanner to work but even then after a few scans I get an Adobe error report saying the programme will have to end and do I want to send an error report etc. etc. I would like to give Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional a minus rating but that is not an option on this site. The product is pure crap.
