I bought Pinnacle Ultimate 12 because I had used Pinnacle before - in the 1990's - and had some success with it, albeit, then, the edition I was using was fraught with stability problems. Later, I realised most of these were to do with lack of computer power. Recalling this, I opted for a brand new computer with 4 g RAM, high speed Hz processor with 420 g HD, and presumed the newer version would have improved, that this level of power would make the thing work. Oh dear. Ultimate 12 loads with a wobble to begin with - indicating stability problems. Then, once you have done your stuff, it sets about saving files randomly, with suffixes it fails to recognise. Best version of Windows, Works fine with WiFi I had an old Pentium III, 733Mhz PC with 256 MB RAM sat in a cupboard, decided to try loading XP but didn't want to spend a lot on the software. This OEM version is a good price and loaded without issue, also registered with Microsoft without a problem. Ok as it is OEM copy you are unlikely to get technical support from Microsoft. Windows XP (in my opinion) is by far the best version of Windows, very easy to install, stable and uses a reasonable amount of system resources (unlike Vista). My young daughter is dyslexic and successful dictation is a marvellous aid for her. Up to version 9, DNS never really captured her voice very well. Now, with the Special Training option in DNS10, the improvement in recognition of her voice is stunning. For someone who has struggled for years to get her thoughts fluently onto a printed page, this is a great step forward. We installed DNS10 on a new laptop with Vista SP1, so perhaps that helped us avoid the upgrade issues which others have described.

I purchased AVG after having the 7 version with hassle free problems. Upon loading this I kept getting a dialogue box saying to register your number online to which I did and everytime I logged on this dialogue box kept coming up asking to register. It then end it wiped off part of my AVG and I have now resorted to taking off AVG and have wasted money as you cannot reinstall AVG once you have taken it off. I will not be buying this again.

I actually bought this package over a year ago and forgot to leave a response (oops). But it is a remarkable package! Fallout 1 has to be my favourite out of the whole package, it must be said it is a fascinating game! It has crude and sometimes sick humour, but that's exactly what i love about this game, it's hilarious. Fallout 2 is ok, i'm finding it a bit slow to start with (unless you're not meant to use guns at all in it....) but still a good game. The Brotherhood of Steel game is all right. It has taken quite a bit of slating from the hardcore fans, but it does what it intended to do. Make a squad based Brotherhood of Steel game. It didn't do it as well as i had expected, but hey, ... I have in the past had a somewhat tortured relationship with Quickbooks. I really could not get a handle on the package! This lite version is therefore an essential repackaging of the Quickbooks product line. It doesn't need night school and an economics degree to get to work, and is certainly going to be the ideal starter point for those people with new businesses. Keep It Simple, Stupid. The KISS rule is so often just what a new business needs and Quickbooks SimpleStart adheres to that. Simple to install, simple to start keeping acounts and a great lead-in product to later more complicated accounting packages as a business grows.

After using this application for a few hours i feel that my life is complete! All those old memories of years past came flooding back when i started to edit my old family videos. It's a definite buy for learner drivers as it has everything you need to practice and learn. The theory test in this program is very similar to the real exam, in terms of questions and the way you answer the multiple choice part of the exam. The hazard perception part of this software is also brilliant. It also uses a similar system to the one used in the official exam. Using this program I achieved 49/50 on the multiple choice part and 50/75 on the hazard perception section. I would highly recommend this program for learner drivers for both the theory and practical side of learning to drive.
