Photoshop CS3 is wonderful and a real joy to use. We were not naive enough to feel it could run on an older less powerful machine. We purchased a new PC especially to run Photoshop CS3, with a lot of memory and running XP Professional, and have hardly anything else running on this machine so that other software does not clutter things up etc. CS3 loaded very easily. After installing the upgrades - 260MB - we started to use it for our day to day image processing. You download your images directly from your card into Bridge and then open them as RAW files. Camera RAW 4.1 is amazing and you will find your images benefit greatly from using this software. After this processing in Photoshop CS3 is smooth and very reliable. Read More:

I am not an artist, not computer savvy and used this product with a mouse. And even with all those disclaimers I can tell you it was not easy to use until I read the booklet and watched the tutorial. So I suggest you watch the tutorial videos that come with it first. After a little practice I was able to produce "paintings" from photos as it promised. This lets you upload a photo and basically paint over it. And expect to be able to improve as I learn more about all that the software has to offer and of course 'Practice'. I cannot imagine how easy and useful this product would be with a tablet. As you may be able to tell from this review, I mainly wanted this so that I could enhance my photographs. I had done software calibration on my Mac before but didn't think anything else was really necessary. However, I got some feedback that my photographs viewed differently on other people's calibrated monitors, and a picture printed for an exhibition came out very differently from what I expected. On advice, I decided to properly calibrate my monitor to ensure consistency in the processing of my digital photographs. I was shocked at the price of these devices and settled on this 'home user' model as a result. The downside is that the calibration is only basic and not Industry-standard. ive tried quite a few security suites over the years,and due to a problem i had (i wont bore you with details)i decided to replace my existing one AVG 2008 it was a toss up between this one and kaspersky,both had good and bad reviews in various places and i chose zone alarm what a clanger it installed fine and all seemed well till i tried to do a scan 2 and a half hours and it was still going on and on and on etc in the end i had to cancel it myself it is soon to be taken off and replaced with kaspersky you can never be sure whatever product you choose but tou should be able to rest fairly easy whilst on your pc so fingers crossed if no joy well trawl through all the reviews again for yet another product

Provides some quite advanced tools, but crashes quite often, losing unsaved work. Annoyingly, the help file describes functions from the more expensive version which cannot be found in this cheaper version.
