I have to say that I was initially recommended this product by a 3rd party and for the purposes that it was needed for seemed to make sense. I created the site that I needed, wasn't the easiest user experience I have to say. The issues started when I tried to edit the pages that I had created. Mr Site support was not particularly helpful and to be honest were at times quite patronising and full of excuses. The main problem was that although the site was up, attempting to edit the pages was impossible because the content was blank. This happeded on more than one occassion. I'm running this on Mac OS X (leopard) - sure it installs itself and then does nothing. If you are accustomed to the intuitive nature of Mac applications...you won't find it here. This is your worst nightmare...a Windows app running on your Mac. It is unable to pull files from iPhoto which means (as far as I can see) you have to convert to jpg and export them to your desk top to use them. More data loss! An attempt to do access you iPhoto file generates an error message (the first I've seen on my Mac!). This also means that the vaunted organisation features of this software are useless. The online help? That's for Windows users....not a word about Mac. Search for "iPhoto" via online help and no results are found. There is nothing ... Read More:

I wasn't really into making alot of video's or anything, mainly because what came with the computer was so simple. This is a step up. It worked wonderfully. I'm not into reading manuals but picked this up pretty easily with some trial and error. The manual is easy to understand though. So my youtubing phase started and i've not looked back. However, now I'm ready for something that offers a little more options. This is a simple program which meets basic needs for any home movie maker, but with youtube I want to experiment more creatively, such like Adobe premier elements offers (though I am worried about the crashing problem with that software). I use Norton 2008 and it does the job fine. Old versions of Norton had a reputation for being a bit slow but 2008 seems pretty good - and faster than my old AVG. I haven't used Ghost so can't comment on that part.

I have just taken my test (April 2008) and this software combined with the DSA theory test book helped me pass with no problems at all. Lots of clips and mock exams and you will find that after trying a few you start to get the feel of when you should be clicking, and how many times. The actual DSA test clips are slower, so you will probably find the actual test easier. That said, my final score in the exam was very similar to the ones I got on the dvd, which was in the 60's. If you're not sure about what to expect on the hazard perception then you should buy this.

I have been using Nero products for many years, but never again. Nero 8 works well until you come to edit DVDs using Nero Vision, when audio and visuals go out of synch. Customer services have been absolutely useless and take an age to respond. After many hours I have now reverted back to Nero 7 which works. I have been told by customer services that Nero Vision 5 is a little fussy and the problem resides with my source files - how come Nero 7,Roxio and Windows DVD maker have no problems with the same source files? I finally gave up when customer services suggested I pay for / download another programme to convert the files in to another format and then convert with Nero 8!!!

I recently bought this product for my step-father, so to make it easier for him to write long letters. Given that he doesn't need to write a huge amount, in many different applications, or even all that frequently; we decided that a Standard edition should be enough. He has a laptop with Vista, that meets the requirements easily. The good:- 1) The program seems quite stable, with only one crash (was worried, as it happened during install!). No further stability issues since installation and updating/patching. 2) While I have seen reports of ongoing issues (especially with Vista), I have not seen many on this system. 3) The program works.
