Photoshop CS3 is wonderful and a real joy to use. We were not naive enough to feel it could run on an older less powerful machine. We purchased a new PC especially to run Photoshop CS3, with a lot of memory and running XP Professional, and have hardly anything else running on this machine so that other software does not clutter things up etc. CS3 loaded very easily. After installing the upgrades - 260MB - we started to use it for our day to day image processing. You download your images directly from your card into Bridge and then open them as RAW files. Camera RAW 4.1 is amazing and you will find your images benefit greatly from using this software. After this processing in Photoshop CS3 is smooth and very reliable. Read More:

One thing about Symantec products is they work, if you just want a good anti-virus scanner that is simple to use and that is simple to keep up to date then this is the answer. The user interface if minimal, allowing you to scan your drives individually or all at once as well as manually running the update program. Other than installing it and letting it run a full system scan every now and then there is nothing to do, the software runs in the background; along with the auto updater.

this is definately a item to have if your looking to take a theory test for large vehicles. i have this item up for sale on amazon as i have no use for it anymore as im now an lgv driver. this cd helped me alot couldnt have passed the theory without it!

I tried Parallels and had no end of hassle with it. VMFusion seems alot more stable as most of the other reviewers have said. There are a couple of niggles though. I wouldn't recommend using your Bootcamp partition as a virtual machine as, on my mac it caused a few hangs. It works fine though if you create a separate Virtual machine to run within OSX and keep Bootcamp for when you need to run Windows natively. Also, you need to be careful when connecting external USB drives to a VM as they can become inaccessible to OSX until you disconnect from Windows. Apart from that it seems to work fine! Speed is good under XP even when working with graphics rich apps like Fireworks et al. For £50 it is a good buy. Recommended!

and you are guaranteed to pass the theory test with high score. The hazard perception is also very useful. However, the practical disk is not much use, it cant beat the real driving experience.

I bought this in a deal when i bought my laptop. i was cautious towards Norton because i had Norton 2005 before this, which was extremely slow and sluggish. The installation speed was extremely slow, but much to my delight, installed properly first time, which is always nice! Since then, in 14 months, i have never had one problem with my laptop, whether that was also down to the laptop being a Toshiba or not thats irrelevant. I can safely surf the web, buying my shopping online, which has even converted my parents to it! The alert system is good, it alerts you when it finds a tracking cookie, and usually minimizes all programs just to make sure (which can be annoying!) had bitdefender 9 for two years and rated that superb.would rate this nearly as highly, but must admit takes slightly longer to load up from start up.been using now for about 4 months, no real moans,had no problems like slowing down the speed of my PC, so can,t understand some of these reviews? must admit the interface is not as easy to understand as 9 was, so takes a bit of getting used to where everything is! but apart from that a good buy all round!

I bought Guitar Pro 5 to supliment an old music writing programme that only wrote in standard notation - the aim being to convert then print music in TAB notation. However, I have discovered that Guitar Pro does more that that! Perhaps the most useful feature is its ability to download from other web sites arrangements of songs that have already been transcribed in Guitar Pro format. Not only can you download, modify if required, and print off these arrangements, but they can also be played on your computer. This allows you to fade whichever instrument you play and then jam along with your computer while reading the TAB that advances with the song. There are so many of these programs on the market these days the choice gets rather bewildering. This package is a fraction of the price of some of the allegedly better-known programs, yet I find it hard to imagine what more anyone would need from genealogy software. Family Tree Legends is easy to use out of the box and is quite intuitive - yet the manual is comprehensive and easy to understand if you get stuck. Easy for the beginner, there's plenty of 'growing room' as you get drawn in to this fascinating hobby and plenty of extras too. Highly recommended.
