I passed my ECDL in three months using this and an additional manual. Very cheap considering the costs of a tutor lead ECDL course.

I'm amazed there's so many negative reviews of this product as my own experience is completely different. Having used TrueImage 11 Home and Ghost 10 in the past with mixed results on a Vista machine I thought I might get similar problems making and restoring from backups? Nope, Ghost 14 has worked without a glitch, and does everything Its supposed too. I've used it on two machines, one a laptop, and they have both been restored more than once after I messed around with other software and caused driver problems. I'm more than happy and would recommend this product.

I have 6 PCs one each running on 98 and 2000 and four on XP. In comparison, 98(rev B) is excellent and generally very stable but lacks some critical facilities e.g. the ability to view picture thumbnails. That said, the machine that it's on is in regular use as a word processor and does a grand job. 2000 is brilliant. Never falls over, has the ability to show thumbnails (albeit only one file at a time) and is not too hungry for resources. Let's pass over ME, that was pathetic and had more bugs than the natural history museum. The one machine that originally had ME was upgraded to XP (without any problems). With software at this price, I always think it's a good idea to try before buying and the Adobe 30 day free trial offer is great for this. I would suggest however getting one of the great books on the subject as although many tools are intuitive, there are many more powerful tools that only a book can really help with. I was able to put it through its paces before investing and do shop around for the best deal. Be wary though this is not a replacement for photoshop, elements or paintshop pro. It is a sophisticated set of tools for organising, developing (digital equivalent of a darkroom), slide show, printing and web facilitator. In those areas it is simply the best. As the tittle says, if you want to pass your theory test this is all you need. All the questions that can come up are on these discs What you need to do is complete a couple of mock theory tests and then run through each question of the revision on its own not by doing a test on the sections but by selecting revision and going through each questions. The ones you get wrong try and remember them and redo the section again and you should get 100%. Once you go for the test you will remember them and will pass well. To the review about disk space above.... the other content is optional, you don't have to install it all. Also, if you are trying to run this piece of higly advanced software on a mac with 60gb of space, then you need to think about upgrading. Logic Pro Studio is better, generally, than all the other music creation/production software out there at the moment.

I have recently written a review on Who do you think you are deluxe. I previously had this product before the deluxe and definatly recommend this, and the deluxe to anyone interested in Family Trees. I have even found some new family members. This product is so easy to use and get to grips with, I have brought my mum the Deluxe version (Its that easy to use.) I will continue to buy the upgrades when they get released.
