Bought this software based on all the great reviews.Unfortunately I found it extremely frustrating to actually cut a scene from the captured footage,then when finished after a 3-4 hour slog,I burnt to DVD only to find the image jerky. Contacted the Customer service on e-mail as the phone number did not work and despite following the instructions from the e-mail help line the results are still the same.Complained to the supplier who now refuses to refund. This experience is really off putting,maybe the people who love this software can explain why it's so good.It does nothing for me!!

It makes DVD editing quick, and simple, you can even play a music track when the DVD starts. There may be a problem with the installation, as it says 'missing drive'. The missing drive could be for a hard-drive or a memory pen, so simply put this in the USB, and this should solve the problem. Note this 4.5 version still does not allow dts 5.1. But it does allow dts wave, but not the standard dts compact. Though the dts wave will read as PCM 2.0 on DVD software, and it may and may not work with your dts encoder.

wondefully simple program for us who cannot be otherwise trusted with writing sheet music. Difficult, because I thought I was better than this... You simply must take a song that you already know, write the notes and practice to get everything right before you compose anything yourself. I have used it without any instrument, composing directly on the computer keys, which feels a little awkward, when used to consulting the keayboards of a nice piano. All in all, a bargain for the price!

I found this very easy to use. Certainly compared with another package I trialled. There is a lot of jargon in this type of work and as a novice there is a whole new dictionary to learn. A lot of the sounds at first seem quite basic but I'm hoping that as I pick up experience that combinations and effects will improve them. I easily added midi-track drums, bass and some effects then an audio track from my guitar. Then created an mp3. I can tell that there is still a lot to learn but I also found that there were things I wanted to do and havn't found how - like varying the volume of one track. Early days. For the price I thought there's little to lose.

What the description of this product does not say is that it is not suitable for Sony HDRSR12E camcorders and similar models,the software just does not recognise the format.I am now stuck with software i cannot use and i cannot understand why that fact is not made clear. One star for the pretty box.

The box clearly states "easily convert your DVDs..." but it does not do it. As soon as you load the software it tells you that it will not convert any copy protected DVD content, and that means virtually everything you would ever want to watch. Could not get any function to work from any format. Even the uninstall program does not work properly.

Good piece of software. Dont be fooled into thinking this will play back from a Midi keyboard though. It is to be used only as a learning tool with a seperate portable keyboard or own piano.
