I wanted this as a DVD player primarily - does the job very well - and I had a look at five or six other well know players and this one was as good or better than the rest. There's nothing flashy about this progarm, it just works very well and loads pretty fast as well. A lot of the other option from other suppliers had things that although clever and impressive - I just didn't see myself really needing them any time soon, so this application is just fine.

Really pleased with this programme. Our 8 year old loves it. Just one note of caution though; as this is an American programme the notation refers to "quarter notes" etc. and not "crotchets and quavers", but this will not prove a problem I am sure. Highly recommended!

I bought this a while ago, whilst it does have some useful application, e.g. cutting tracks, splitting, and allowing you to mix tracks together it leaves the sound of the final saved MP3 tinny. There are free MP3 editors on the web which will do a better cutting job for you and save in the original format. This is one faster and two doesnt disrupt the sound after editing. I cant even say that you get what you pay for as I am now using much better freeware over this piece of kit for the editing; the useful features such as audio mixing are the only part I still may use but even then I avoid it due to the poor sound quality post saving.

Good features and easy to use - conceptually. But. But. But. It constantly freezes and crashes my PC despite having much more memory and disc space than the minimum specified. My CPU speed should also be more than adequate to do the job. The internet has many reports of people having similar trouble with this software. This is absolutely unacceptable for software which will be used for large time-consuming video editing work, where a failure can be highly irritating to say the least. Pinnacle try to hide behind various excuses, mainly blaming the heavy computational load of video editing. That is rubbish. Properly written software would just run more slowly - it would not, repeat, not crash. The software concept must be fatally flawed. ... Read More:
