Bought this for my 7/8 year old who is mad about space and astronomy, we all think it's absolutely magical. It's very realistic, gives off just the right amount of light and is suitable to play with or just to leave on to go to sleep to. I can think of a few other kids who will be getting these for presents. Just GREAT!

When I first got this, I was initially disappointed at the size. The picture doesn't really give you an idea, and I suppose I was thinking the train itself would be chunky and big. In fact, it's a fair size, but quite dinky. The loop, when setup, is about 12" across and the train is about 3" long. This is quite entertaining for the kids. Mine got it when she was 9 months old, and she still plays with it, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time. although this toy says 18months plus both me and a relative have it for our 1 year olds and they love it! its brightly coloured durable and the book of songs is great fun for parents we have found we want to know how to play the tunes!! haha its highly addictive and once the little ones are older they can follow the easy note system to learn songs too absolutely great!!

This proved very popular with my 4 month old son, he loved lying watching the bird, but by 6 months old the novelty obviously had worn off, and he had moved on to bigger and better things. Great for newborns as a night- time toy, but difficult for them to kick! much better on parent setting..... think my son was to advanced once i bought it for him to have much use - he would rather play with activity centres now!

My daughter (16months old) loves this. Although the tune can be quite annoying after the 17th time, this has still provided some entertainment, particularly in the car. Not educational but she loves the tune and the "moving pictures". Glad I bought it. I would recommend it if your little one likes Fifi and you want something for "in car entertainment!".

I have two flip flaps sitting on my windowsill. Just sitting, and swaying in the light. And do you know what? For such gentle unassuming things, they sure do attract a lot of attention. I recently had builders in and caught them all standing gazing at the flip-flaps! These big butch builders were mesmerized! Cute, and therapeutic. I love them.
