I bought this as a small 'top up' gift for my son's 6th birthday - he loves it, even though the end product is a little bit of plastic in the shape of a dinosuar that's only and inch or so long... His two-year old sister really went wild for it too, and has kept it under her pillow all week. So although it's nothing special as far as us adults are concerned, it has something about it that kids really go for. It'd make a good stocking filler for Christmas.

My boys really enjoyed watching this erupt. Easy to set up, can be used again and again if you buy new ingredients. But it's probably cheaper to do it the old fashioned way with vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in an old yoghurt pot!

(So does the rest of the family) Yes, it does get a quite a bit messy so we've put it on a really large tray which does contain most of the dust. He's already asked if we can get another one, when he's finished this one. Great Buy!
