I highly recommend this toy - it is played with by my 9 month old every single day. She finds news thing to explore (Light, colour, sound) all the time.

My 9 month old loves this toy, and so does everyone who picks it up! Hours of fun and such a simple idea. I'll be buying this again and again for my friends as they have babies.

We were very disapointed with this item - the bell ring is VERY quiet and the magnetic ringer only works with brio trucks that have large metal hubs on the wheels. If, like us, you have a hybrid set of Tesco/Thomas/Brio etc. you may find some problems with getting the bell to ring at all. It's a good idea but just doesn't work well in practice. we recommend a level crossing or collapsing bridge instead.

My son was give this for his first birthday - he has played with it every day since. He uses it in it's traditional hammer-epg way but also like to stack the pegs in a tower on the edge and also uses the whole thing for a seat! I was a bit sceptical when he opened the box but the traditional toys certainly seem to be the favourite in this house!

Have bought this for my sons 4th birthday - he loves his train set ... which is mostly ikea and tesco track. Bought this for the quality factor and thought the price wasn't bad for brio. It is compatible with the lkea and tesco tracks which is good ... my only worry is the fact the tracks have white designs all over them .. which may be a problem for his lordship. REVISED >>>>>>>> Well - he managed to break one !!!! cant beleive it - these are the expensive ones .. not a durable as i thought ... as easily broken as the tesco ones..... will stick to the ikea ones - unbreakable !!!
