I have had mine for a long time now and they continue to breed. They are fantastic and all you need to do after purchasing this kit is buy extra food which is only £2.50 a pack. As long as the instructions are followed properly they last for years.

This is great as long as it doesn't come into contact with water. Much like a Mogwai (Gremlins), when in contact with water the fun stops and ink just covers everything. We have a ruined kitchen table as a result and I do accept that there is a warning on the packaging stating that ink may run if it comes into contact with water but anyone with children will know that accidents can (and more often than not, do) happen. Unfortunately the ink isn't wipe off either, when in contact with wood it acts like stain and we have a beautiful pattern on our kitchen table. Great idea just a shame about the flaws but if you're sure you're able to keep children under constant supervision when playing with it then great, just be aware!

I bought this item as my 3 and a half year old daughter saw the advert on TV and asked if she could have one. I thought I would buy it for Easter instead of Easter eggs as she would get eggs from her grandparents and she would enjoy doodle daisy more. The parcel arrived and with much excitement we set it up. There are holes for 5 pens on the front arms, there are shape stamps on each of the 6 feet and the hat has 8 stencil shapes. The stamps and shapes are functional just as any other stamps and stencils are (they do what they're supposed to do). The main feature of doodle daisy is the spirograph function.
