when i bought my daughter this we got it before all the stores had sold out.all she wanted for xmas was this doll.i thought it looked brilliant with the heart beat,glowing cheeks.but the reality is it isn't as good as i first thought.the bruise on her arm doesn't go away.which upsets my daughter.i wouldn't invest in another chou chou doll.think i'll stick with the baby annabell's.

Last Christmas my wife and I had a nightmare with a dolls house. Whilst putting it together we had to nail small tacks into the wood to secure it all together. We followed the instructions but the wood split and it looked a right mess. It put us off ...until now! This dolls house is an absolute doddle to put together. There are no screws, nails, or glue (other than the screws to attach the metal end plates which act has hinges). The house essentially slots together, and the three window-boxes on each side secure the structure - resulting in a very sturdy wooden dolls house. My children already have a pixel chix house, which I managed to get for half price, and they loved that one, so when my youngest at 7 years put this one on her christmas list I thought about it. Then I saw the price of it and thought no way but my mum persuaded me that it was what she really wanted. She plays with it loads and manages to interact it with her other pixel chix things and the roomies work too. I don't like the look of it or the price but if children's contentment is what we pay for then I have great value for money here, after all it's how much they play with it that counts!
