My daughter really struggled with Clickstart at first. We bought it for her third birthday and she couldn't cope with the mouse but she loves Dora and after using it for about 10 minutes over two occasions she is now finding it easy. Her understanding of letters etc has improved already.

A friend bought the Playtime Bus for our daughter's first birthday and it has been in constant use ever since. Catchy tunes and noises provide entertainment now and the quizzes and games give her something to 'grow into'. Also good to simply push around. Recommended.

The ability to expand and add more 'games' also means this is a must for development of the young mind. Amusing children with a PS3 would be of concern but this is aimed at young minds with a grasp of the basics of education at an early age. Don't buy it if your child is going to be of the PlayStation generation, Do Buy it if your child is going to grow up with any degree of an educated upbringing!

Our son got this game for is 4th birthday and he has loved playing it ever since, with increasing level of counting/maths. No one maths game is going to interest a child from early counting to more advanced additon and subtraction. But the beauty of this game is that you can adapt the rules to the level of the children involved. We started using it for basic counting, and now one year later, it really helps with addition and subtraction. And I expect it will retain interest and educational value for some time to come. R
