I bought a set of these for our 6 year old for his seventh birthday, and you know the story, the more expensive presents hardly got played with, but these cards I am not surprised that they are not dog eared (pardon the pun). The cards are quite well made, not flimsy cheap card the printing and pictures excellent. Plus they are quite educational, which also helps, as afterall if the child is having fun playing, they sometimes don't realise just how much knowledge they have gained, but ask a simple question about one of the Dogs a few days later and you will be amazed at just what they have picked up. I bought this toy to play at Christmas as a family. I was a bit disappointed with the format of it as although it is fun to play the game in secret from other family members, it was a bit boring not really being able to see how the other players were doing as we were all trying to crowd round the small handset. If you like playing games as a group then I do not recommend you buy this and perhaps choose the DVD option instead- it is much cheaper and doesn't need batteries.

I originally bought this for one of my twin sons and they fought over it so much that I had to buy another. They both love it and there are no more fights.

We have owned this game for years and whole family still thoroughly enjoy playing it. Originally and rather pretentiously it was called Mensa as it was designed by people belonging to Mensa. Don't let that put you off though as it is a quick game to pick up. It involves matching colours (or shapes for the colour blind) in as long a string as possible to reach a specific total. Matching one colour only is no good as all six have total goals to obtain. The tiles are tough and durable and the board is robust. It can be played by 5 year olds on a simple level but is great for teenagers and the rest of the family. You can play tactically and if you want to play dirty you can block your opponents (but expect the same in return). Every game ... Read More:

This was my very fisrt murder mystery and it was great fun. The plot is hilarious with all kinds of unexpected twists. The tape is really helpful with a summary after each round. This one is set in London, 1967 with gangsters, actors and singers. All the guests had a fantastic time. It's the sort of thing that's fun whether it's taken seriously or not, as it is possible to work out who dunnit. I would recommend this to anybody over the age of 16.

this version of buckaroo just doesn't work as well as the old version. this one (or at least my one) does not buck at all unless you cheat, as stated by someone else below. the old version used to buck with hardly any effort at all, which made the game tense and exciting; brilliant. but with this version, even my nineteen month old son (unsteady as he is)can't make the mule buck. arghhhh! no fun at all. it's a great idea to try and update the product by incorporating levels and it is a far more attractive looking mule, but the whole point of the game is to make it buck, right? my advice would be to try and find an older version. we've not touched our new buckaroo since we bought it and i am now trying to get my hands on an older ... This murder mystery was great fun but I like them all. The game is for 10 players. You can have an additional 2 players but they don't have much to say in the game. The plot was good but will be familiar to fans of the film Casablanca.
