This is so much fun, me and my 3 year old son love it. One of the best things about it is the fact that you dont need batteries. The suspense of the game it great and the pop up pirate makes us jump every time no matter how often we have played it. It is so easy to set up my son does it all and feels quite confident and important about that. Putting the swords in the barrel is good for a childs co ordination, counting them into equal groups of differnt colours for each player is also educational. We love it and are glad we bought it anyway.

Bought this for my son for christmas. Thought it might be too difficult for him as he wasn't 5 until end Jan. However after only a little while he could easily do the beginners section! He really enjoys the game and concentrates quite hard whilst doing it! Great game would highly recommend!

Just simply a great practical item. Does what it says on the box! Make up your puzzle on the felt mat, then when you want a break, simply pull open the telescopic tube, roll the puzzle and mat around it, and secure with the elastic bands provided.

Connect 4 is a classic game. It's essentially a more complex version of Noughts and Crosses, but with gravity dropped (!) in. You have to drop your pieces down the slots in turns, and create a line of four in a row. At first, it sounds simple, but there are skills - creating traps and forcing your opponent into them. It is a game I have played literally thousands of times and it never gets tired.

I remember playing this when I were a lad, way back in t'eighties, and like all great games it hasn't changed at all. It takes no time to put together, is brightly coloured, makes lots of noise and has loads of balls rattling about, so for a family with a three year old it's a winner from the start. If only it came in a bigger box so I could store it properly...

a portable fun game for boys and girls who can count. you have so many trimonoes at the start of the game and haev to match the numbers at the edges to ones already down. You then add the totals. I f you can't go you can buy stock from the "bank" but at a cost. Even my 4 year old has a pretty good go at it.

we love this game and having found a travel version it came to France with us.....This game helps with numbers for my 6 year old and the travel game is easily packed up and neat enough to fit in a suit case!
