First, I must say how grateful I am to all the reviewers who took the time to write about this product. I am not the only one! Pity there weren't any reviews around when I bought the Creation Station last Christmas. I was disappointed at the difficulty I had in installing the software, and I was frustrated in trying to get any of its functions to work properly and together. I spent half a day trying to install the software, and then none of the promised editing facilities worked. The camera, much to my surprise, as it looked like something you would find in a Christmas cracker,worked, though toppled over a good many times because of the wobbly tripod. We brought this for our little boy with his christmas money,who is 2,three in march.I was a little sceptical about spending this sort of money on something that could be great or not so.I saw it on offer and eventually decided to get it.Christmas day came we put in the batteries and everyday since,my boy has been on it.I can glady say its fab!He now knows most of his letters and all of his numbers so as far as the educational thing goes thats a 10 out of 10 for me.We also brought him the Thomas game which he loves,he sometimes struggles with the mouse but with abit of practice he'll be fine. The only thing i would say is to buy the adapter,were still on our first lot of batteries but it is definately cheaper in the long run.

My son found this himself when my husband took him to the toyshop for his 3rd birthday and I can not recommend it highly enough. I think it is one of the best toys on the market for this age group. He is 3 and 4 months and has now learnt to tell the time! He used to come into our room at 5.00 am and now he knows that if the clock is not showing 7.00am he goes back to bed! I have a one year old who also loves to push all the buttons and watch the Thomas pop out of his shed and trundle round the track till he reaches the small hand on the clock showing the time. Very clever, well thought out, interesting, educational but fun toy. Brilliant!

An excellent purchase that I'm very pleased with. The game is well designed, the instructions are clear and precise enough to get playing straight away. The complexity of the game is well pitched so that you can pick up the basics straight away, making it very accesible, but the level of strategy is deep enough so that you will develop new tricks and moves along the way to increase it's longevity. It's also incredibly addictive, which is not bad thing as it challenges you to use your brain power not only to plot your own moves, but to try to counteract your opponent also.
