We were very disapointed with this item - the bell ring is VERY quiet and the magnetic ringer only works with brio trucks that have large metal hubs on the wheels. If, like us, you have a hybrid set of Tesco/Thomas/Brio etc. you may find some problems with getting the bell to ring at all. It's a good idea but just doesn't work well in practice. we recommend a level crossing or collapsing bridge instead.

This product is really good and very simple to do, however make sure you launch, and more importantly, land onto grass. Our first attempt was off concrete and was great until it landed back onto the concrete. Although there were no obvious breaks, the landing damaged the rocket and now the mixture leaks out of the bottom and it doesn't work anymore. As with the other review, we have purchased another as it is definately worth another go!

It sounds great on paper - soothes your baby to sleep and should they awaken during the night, it is sound-activated and should soothe them back to sleep. But as the other reviewers have said, this was far too loud and the slightest noise reactivated it - it woke the baby up and us in the next room! Aside from this the projected image is unclear (had no idea what it was meant to be) Looking at the box gives you the false impression that all sorts of wonderful images are projected round the room... Do yourselves a favour and buy the Tomy Starlight Dreamshow, we've been using it 6 months now and it still brings a smile to our babies face when we switch it on for bedtime. He would not slump doen and loved looking at the different activites. He would even fall asleep in it. Once he got older he would crawl in and out the ring and play with the different activities.
