I bought this for my 8 year old daughter and she liked it - mind you it only lasted for a day or so and the scents were not much to write home about. I cant help thinking that a good ol go with some rose petals and water has about the same educational level. i think that it could have had more scents in it - and more interesting ones too. These packs never have enough stuff in them and once they are gone they are gone. Mind you my daughter did enjoy doing it but beware - you may have to wear rose and mint perfume!

A game that I bought after reading the reviews and have not been disappointed. It is great fun for the child and the adult and teaches at the same time. Fully recommended.

I have got 2 of these for my 2year old, one at grandma's and one at mine. Such a good idea. No other mess. The pens fill with water. My daughter first got hers aged 1... and no, that wasn't too early! She has loved it ever since. They aren't perfect,but what is? the mats are susceptible to dirt, as are the pens. I read a couple of review from mums who didn't like them as their children threw juice over them or got the pens dirty, but seriously, keep other liquids away from your children whilst they are being played with, and the pens away when they aren't being used, and whats the problem? I bought this for my 6 month old nephew for Christmas and it has been great. The baby shakes the rattle and Winnie sings and dances. Unlike a lot of toys it comes with batterys and also switches itself off if it is not played with for a few minutes. We also discovered that, if you lose the rattle, you can start Winnie by rattling keys, clapping and also burping near him!!! Its excellent for learning becuse it didn't take long before my nephew realised that the rattle starts Winnie, although he can be a bit annoying after a couple of hours

This is a great activity toy. It's one of those few toys that are well worth the money and get lots of use. My under 6s find it hilarious and although the game doesn't last very long they are so enthusiatic about playing it again they have no problem collecting up the butterflies, setting it up and starting again. I can't think of any other games where they are really happy to tidy up like this. Parental help is required when loading the butterflies - you have to disconnect the nose hose at the base in order to put the butterflies in again. There is no way children can get their fingers stuck in the fan that blows out the butterflies and it has a great safety feature where the fan cuts out if the elephant is lifted up. It ... This toy looks absolutely beautiful,very life-like of a golden retriever puppy. However the mechanics are far from great,they are very noisy and very "rachety" we had our puppy only a day and during that time he was only "working" a few times then he laid down by command something made a very loud noise in his back and he couldn't get up again,presumably something had broken,which I was very annoyed about as he is expensive and for that sort of money you don't expect the "puppy" to break in such a short space of time and particularly as it wasn't a child that had it.
