My wife and I bought this fire engine as part of the full set (choper, ambulance, rescue truck and 4 x figures. Both of our boys 3 & 1 love this. They play with it every day. It takes a real hammering but it is still 100% intact. Its their favourite toy (at the moment!)

When I first got this, I was initially disappointed at the size. The picture doesn't really give you an idea, and I suppose I was thinking the train itself would be chunky and big. In fact, it's a fair size, but quite dinky. The loop, when setup, is about 12" across and the train is about 3" long. This is quite entertaining for the kids. Mine got it when she was 9 months old, and she still plays with it, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time. My 3 year son loves to vacuum / clean (I know ...) so he gets great enjoyment out of using this toy either while we are really cleaning or by himself. But the quality of the materials and the construction of this toy leave a lot to be desired. Safe to say - it is no Fisher-Price! I expected this level of product based upon other reviews on similar Casdon 'Dyson' toys. This is a toy you buy for short-term fun - it will not take abuse.

Not recommended for four year olds but that is who I bought one for and my granddaughter loves it. One criticism. The possibilities for adjusting handlebar height are limited. She could have it low or chopper height but nothing in between.

I bought this for my 3 month old as Iwas finding it hard to entertain her. I had to pad out the seat to begin with so she couldn't move about and bounce as she was so young. She did find it so easy to get the music and the lights to flash it helped to keep her amused for a little while until she got bigger and could stay in for longer. I wasn't sure about getting one of the dearer options incase she didn't like it and this was a bargain at £33.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter, as she enjoys playing with beads. Unfortunately, the beads in this are very small and fiddly for her to place. It took her over an hour to make one complete design and then when sprayed with water to stick the beads together it warped and then broke apart. I wouldn't recommend this product. My daughter also has the Hama beads set as well which you iron to join the beads together and that is a much better product than these poorly designed aquabeads

i tend to fully agree with all the reviews so far about how easily it falls apart, but my son who was only one and a half at the time, soon learnt how to reconnect the carriages himself, and enjoyed doing so. this toy has been covered in squished banana at breakfast time, immersed in countless bubble baths, rolled up and down the slide in the garden - and even found itself thrown in the fish pond once - but still it is intact and very much loved by my little boy. yes hasbro could have tried harder to be a little more imaginable with the design - or at least reduced the rrp to a more value-for-money amount, but in our house, this toy is definately a hit and i for one am glad i bought it.
