As avid players of number Rummikub we discovered the Word version. While waiting to acquire a Word Rummikub game we used the letters from a Scrabble set which led us to score using the Scrabble value for each letter. Thus the highest scoring word is not neeccessarily the longest. We have found this more fun. I have written the value of the letter on the bottom of the tiles in indelible pen. We have played with a theme where every word has to relate to the chosen theme. This is harder than it would seem. Try it, it's totally adictive. Make up your own variations.

My son, aged 3 loves this game. It's his favourite out of all his vsmile games. It's challenging enough for him but yet still manageable. The game where you have to match the pieces of wall to the shapes is his favourite and it's great for his problem solving skills.

This is great as it has a "key" of the main animals and plants around the edge with their names, sizes and when they were alive. Kids can learn a bit about the dinosaurs from that, but also use it to find the dinosaurs in the picture once they've put it together. There's a lot going on in the picture, too, so you can spend time talking about which dinos are vegetarian and which meat-eating, etc. The colours are bright and attractive (although you might have to explain that no-one knows what colours these animals were). My only suggestion would be that there could be a booklet or something included to give more information on each species, or even a separate book linked to the puzzle (that Amazon could do a deal on if you bought ... This is a must have toy for anyone who likes thier toys, i bought it for my 4 year old for his birhtday, thinking he wouldnt be able to use it and "daddy" would have to show him how it worked, but he has mastered the speed control straight away and he isnt to bad with the direction controls, i struggle with direction, but it is very easy to keep it flying in a normal sized room until it starts to run out of power(7-10 mins). once it looses most of its charge it struggles to gain height so is ideal for a novice to take over and start playing around with it, as it wont gain enough height to smash into the ceiling. UB Funkeys are Great. They are the best game for the PC and they are going to be THE game to get this Christmas! They are for any age from about 6 up, my little sister likes playing and so does my Mum! You get a big Funkey (the hub) that plugs into the USB port of your pc and then there are loads of other other smaller Funkey characters to collect, which sit on the shoulders of the hub (really cute). You play the game, creating a virtual world with different areas and games for each of the different types of Funkey. You have your own Crib which you decorate and fill with different items you pick up along the way as you play the game. Its really fab and really addictive and all my friends want one!

We have had this toy since last Christmas and the paint on Felix comes off quite easily. Apart from that it is a fun toy but make sure you get all the water out of it after bath time or it starts to go a bit mouldy.
