As the other reviewer has said this book is is a nightmare. Badly laid out, with no map of the city overall making it difficult to understand where you are. The restaurants that were tried in Bracciano were both disappointing. The shopping section was also poor - the major shopping mall at the termini was no more than you would get at the airport. Poorly written over complicated - the book lost its credibility and therfore ending up in the bin before it completey ruined our holiday. Do not buy!!

if you want a general view of the algarve the map is good. any more i recommend to look for another map. good luck

This map looks and feels top quality. A quick check of the small places I know seems they haven't forgotten the detail. This map would be ideal for touring on the road (what I will use it for eventually) but not so useful for planning as it is split across back/front for north and south India. I know India is a big place, but for planning a 6 month trip it's not so great to be flipping the map back and forth - plus, you can't stick it to a wall for an overall view. BUT - on the road this will be great. Quality is brilliant and the price is fantastic.

I took this book along with others to Tuscany - my first visit. We were staying in the middle of Chiantishire and found the book invaluable and for our limited time there, accurate. There are detailed descriptions of Florence and Siena but also some helpful guidance on the Tuscany villages. Useful because the villages take time to get to and we needed to prioritise. Very accurate about the restaurants and trattorias we used.

when i read this book i thought that it was written by amateur travellers.Well if someone would like to write a travell book of a country i think that he must read first some books of the history and culture of the place .In this book we can see an epidermic show of greece.Too many bars cafe's etc etc(greece is full of them it is not a big deal to introduce some of them).Speaking of history of greece this book is definitely not a masterpiece :)
