but ends up as a piece of crap.
Sorry, but this film is not good. It started out as a decent gangster movie and should have kept this path. There was enough potential here to make this Rodriguez' best film, but why did he have to bring in the vamps to make it a slayfest and ruin this? George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino were so great as the two Geckos brothers and the beginning scene was just awesome. What a pity.

VHS : Spy Kids [2001]
This movie is full of action, adventure and creative characters without being violent and scary. My two boys loved it. It was loads of fun for my husband and I as well as there is plenty of comedy that transends generations. We have seen Spy Kids 2 as well but can't reccomend it as it contains more violence and the characters were pretty scary.

VHS : Desperado [1996]
Robert rodriguez directed a visually stunning film with desperado,it didnt really have a storyline worth discussing in great detail but kept the interest going with cartoon like violence that was impossible to ignore, this is indeed one violent movie and is all the better for it,almost like robocop but set in mexico.
Antonio banderas plays a man set on revenge and wont stop until he knows he has wiped out all who wronged him, simple indeed, salma hayek plays the love interest who gets involved in something she doesnt really understand, steve buscemi is great as a confident of banderas' and quentin tarantino is great as a reciever of goods who tells a classic joke to a room full of bad breeds.
The film is simle but great,it looks great, blood flows and is very stylish ... Read More:

VHS : Replacement Killers [1998]
The Replacement Killers was good enough, but that's it. I came to expect more from John Woo, who executive produced it (whatever that means). Chow-Yun Fat was excellent, of course. I wanted to hear him speak English, and he did a remarkable job. He's more fun to watch when you don't have to read the screen every time someone talks. Action flick. Bang bang. Big guns. High body count.

9.Desert Heat [1999] starring: Jean-Claude Van Damme, Pat Morita, Danny Trejo, Gabrielle Fitzpatrick, Larry Drake

VHS : Desert Heat [1999]
If you don't like JCVD you should probably subtract a few stars from my review because objectively speaking, it sucks in many respects. The acting, directing (actually by the director of the original Rocky under another name ) script and action scenes are all dicey as hell, both the humour and the violence is almost poignantly misjudged and intermingled. Having said all this , if you like booze, can laugh at the surreal madcap atmosphere the movie becomes something approaching hynotic.
JC wanders through the film cheerfully beating up and killing some idiotic rednecks ( something like the oafs Clint and the ape used to knock around in Any Which Way You Can) who stole his bike. He liberates the weird citizens of a dust-bowl town, enjoys some pie, has a threesome with two hot bimbos, ... Read More:

VHS : Anaconda [1997]
I love Anaconda, I understand that it isn't that brilliant a few. However, it is a fun and easy watch, which requires no thinking, with brilliant effects, which are more successful than most films. There is something about animatronics that work much better than cgi and the animatronics in this work beautifully. I also enjoy the flaws (backwards running waterfall) and the drinking game, where you drink every time the snake screams and J.lo pouts! you'll be happily wrecked!
