VHS : Look Who's Talking Now [1993]
If you liked the other two films then you will love this, personally i think it is the best with all of the actors portraying a convincing plot. The storyline is great and believable you can guess the ending but at some times you wonder what is going to happen next, a real cliffhanger.
This is a must see film for adults and children if you want to laugh and enjoy yourself and at the price amazon are selling it at buy it now!

VHS : Divorcing Jack [1998]
This is based on the book "Divorcing Jack" by Colin Bateman and the film is just as funny as the book, if not funnier. David Thewlis stars as Dan Starkey, a columnist who likes his drink. One day, he meets a young woman and after being caught kissing her by his wife, she throws him out. After the young woman is murdered and he becoems the prime suspect, it is up[ to him to find a man called "Jack" and solve the murder. Of course, there is more to the situation than meets the eye...

The story is quick and pacy with lots of twists and turns. The best thing about the film though is Thewlis. He is hilraious as Starkey whose dress sense is the only thing worse than his drinking. A recommended film for Thewlis film but if you are up ... Read More:

VHS : Sex, Lies And Videotape [1989]
'Sex, Lies & Videotape' is a very intriguing film that is pure indie brilliance in a very subtle unconventional way.
The lead character in the story is Ann (Andie MacDowell). Ann is a frustrated & fed-up house wife who suspects her husband John (Peter Gallagher) of having an affair.
Some events happen & a (drifting) friend of John's is invited over to dinner at the couple's home.
We are then introduced to Graham (James Spader). Graham is an unemployed loner, with an unusual obsession with videoing women as they document their sex life.
The viewer soon finds that John's mistress is in fact Ann's younger sister (Laura San Giacomo) her polar opposite; a free spirited, barmaid.
What I really liked about ... Read More:

I will not comment again on the music and the excellent sound, which all other reviewers justly praise.
About the modern staging: for me it *does* work.

"Updating" the Roman soldiers to American ones efficiently drags you in the story by bringing it closer to us (alas it does make me think of events that took places after this recording was made; incredible how oppression keeps having the same horrible creativity in designing their torments - forcing profoundly religious people to take part in sexual activities...).
Making the Christian fugues visual, a sort of stylised modern ballet, underlines their structure and their power. It also gives a sort of abstract quality to the choir, that becomes more than a group of individuals, ... Read More:

VHS : X [1996]
Having watched the series of X (which is amazing, but sadly hasn't been brought out on region 2), I thought I'd invest in the film version, especially as it was only £3.50 and I could have it as a treat after finishing a pretty lengthy exam.
It wasn't as rewarding as I hoped for. The characters, which I had come to know and love throughout the series, were now paper-thin and the plot was weak. Understandably with so many characters they couldn't go into all of their backstories, but, given that the film is a pale 93 mins, they could have well fleshed some of them out. The odd pacing and plot holes means the viewer is left just as bemused as Kamui is. If I hadn't seen the series, I would've been completely lost! Furthermore, the animation is pretty ... Read More:

VHS : Revelation: The Book Has Been Opened
This is a sequel to the movie 'Apocalypse - Caught in the Eye of the Storm'. I was actually taken by surprise by this movie. It is of much higher production value then the original and the acting has improved to that of what you would expect on T.V. It even has some special effects. It is close to B movie quality.

This movie starts up three months after 'Apocalypse' ends. Jeff Fahey plays a counter-terrorist expert looking for Christians, whom are called Haters in this series. He does not believe in God, but he also does not believe in the Anti-Christ. So we follow his journey as he decides what is transpiring and which side he will join. We also learn in this movie the writers vision on how the Anti-Christ plans to administer the Mark of the Beast ... Read More:
