VHS : The Hunchback Of Notre Dame [1996]
I grew up watching only a few films and the Hunchback of Notre Dame was one of them.
I used to get my mam to rent it from the local video shop over and over again, and in the end the owner just ended up giving us the video.
Sadly, since my VHS player stopped working last year, i have had to convert all my videos onto DVD, which is a pain and costs money.

I think the Hunnchback of Notre Dame is an amazing story! Especially for children and especially for those growing up in the world today. I believe, and know, the moto to the story is dont be afraid of who you are, be proud. And since there's a lot of people today that are afraid to be themselves. I think this story is s good lesson!
The film has an amazing storyline..okay ... Read More:

Ghost is an amazing film, it is the only film that has ever made me cry, and I assure you, that never normally happens. I don't know what else I can say that other reviews haven't already. Amazing film.

Used to watch this all the time when I was a kid - bought it recently and after 5 years of not watching, it was like revisiting an old friend. This is the kind of movie that makes you feel happy for days - essential.

VHS : The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2 - The Secret Of The Bell [2001]
No words can describe this abomination of a "sequel" to the original, brilliant Hunchback of Notre Dame. Hell I can't believe most of the original cast even signed up for this thing! The animation is horrid, the story is ridiculous, the songs are forgettable and the new villain is...ugh, REALLY boring compared to Frollo! I don't like Madeleine much either.

I think only young kids will like this one. Adults and older kids (like myself?) ...Not so much. I recommend you stay away from this. Far away.

VHS : The Scarlet Letter [1995]
One of my favourite films, no matter how many bad or average reviews it gets. Beautifully filmed, great soundtrack, romantic, moving, and Gary Oldman plays the character very well. I was initially surprised when reading the book to see that at the end he dies, rather than riding off into the sunset with Hester, as they do in the film. But I love that the film used it's artistic license like that. Much more important things in life than sticking rigidly to a book - the film has a happy ending, and the film is an enjoyable and moving historical romance .... great!

6.One Crazy Summer (1984) starring: John Cusack, Demi Moore, Curtis Armstrong, William Hickey, Joe Flaherty

VHS : About Last Night [1986]
I adored this flick in the 80's and found the pairing of Lowe and Moore worked well - they look so good in this film - Belushi is so jealous and hard nosed friend sparking off Perkins uptight school teacher room-mate. Both were poor 'best' friends to the leads characters - desperately trying to keep them apart to stop them being hurt!! the music is instantly forgettable but ties in nicely with the film.
Classic line from Lowe to Moore "I saw you staring at me" Moore "Theres a clock above your head!.

This film is actually from a little known book called "Sexual perversity in Chicago." - This is a much racier read than the film itself and worth trying to get hold of - just imagine the actors in those book roles .

VHS : If These Walls Could Talk [1996]
"If These Walls Could Talk" is one of the most didactic films you are likely to see, but given that there is no issue in contemporary America that is more polarizing than that of abortion it could well be that it is one of the least persuasive films you will see as well. Those who are pro-choice will see it as compelling, while those who are pro-life will see it as offensive, and those who have not made up their minds are too young to watch anything that originally aired on HBO. That is especially true of this film, which has a pair of scenes that will upset you regardless of gender or ideology.

The conceit of "If These Walls Could Talk" is that three women, living in three different times in the past half-century but in the same house, find themselves pregnant. Each faces a different situation, ... Read More:

VHS : The Few Good Men, A / Color Of Money [1992]
This double-bill encapsulates the phenomenon of Tom Cruise. From bright-eyed wannabe in 'The Colour of Money' to cocksure heart-throb in 'A Few Good Men', Cruise sealed his position as top Hollywood movie star. As ever, these films rely heavily on their supporting casts - and both serve up actors of the highest calibre who sparkle in their pivotal roles. Jack Nicholson is faultless as Cruise's Navy-nemesis in 'A Few Good Men' and the two-hander between Cruise and Nicholson in the courtroom finale remains one of the most memorable and volcanic confrontations in cinema history. Similarly, 'The Colour of Money' benefits from the experience of Paul Newman, who reprises his role rom the 1961 classic 'The Hustler'. Despite his age, Newman's crystal-blue eyed charm eclipses the somewhat adolescent looks of Tom Cruise, ... Read More:

i havent cried so much since 'bridges of madison county', it really got to me this film, it was brilliantly acted and i could see the scenario, not so much the one night thing, but the aftermath being experienced in modern day society. How the characters changed and started to interact less with each other really upset me, You have to watch this film!!
