Yet again here is another compilation of the timeless Victoria Wood's excellent tv series. Some of the sketches may be a little samey (especially the 'Supermarket Checkout scene). But they are still hilariously funny. I recommend it!

Okay, at fist the idea seems dumb - How funny can a comedy about a school be?

The answer - Very,very,very funny

Ok it looses it around the middle of the second series , but I think the BBC should be applauded for 10 epsoades of class, rather then 2 filled with rubbish. Its a moot point anyway, since the second series hasn`t been released on video yet (and knowing the beeb, never will be)

In a way, Chalk reminds me of a modern day Fawlty Towers, with the same larger-then-life charcters who never seem to do anything majorley wrong, yet still get into the strangest situations, with Depuety head Eric Slatt getting into trouble as easily as John Cleese ever did.

why not a real gem like this movie.It would fly
