VHS : Finding Nemo [2003]
You don't need to know the story... I'm sure you're aware it's about a fish and his dad. 'Nuff said!
This review is for the parents. My three year old son is pretty hardy but over the year or more he has been watching it I have found myself exercising various levels of censorship. On the whole it's fine but be warned Nemo's mum does get killed, there are murderous sharks, exploding war time mines and spooky deep sea beasts with large teeth!
You have been warned :)
I still love those darned turtles though.....

VHS : The Love Letter [1999]
Hollywood Ending sees Woody Allen playing a nervous film director (an acting stretch, I know) whose best years are a long way behind him (quiet, you!). Lucky for him, he's offered a chance to turn his career around; unlucky for him, it means working with his ex-wife and the man who stole her away. As if this weren't bad enough, Allen comes down with a case of hysterical blindness, meaning he has to direct a big budget studio film while being unable to see. Slight hilarity ensues.

What you get with this one is an attempt at satire, with Allen getting in a few jabs at mainstream Hollywood, so a certain amount of exaggeration is to be expected. Problem is, he pushes things much too far, and it becomes impossible to accept that no one ... Read More:

VHS : EDtv [1999]
It's difficult to create a good movie that mixes comedy and drama in a good way. EDtv manages to do it. The movie is perhaps more relevant today than it was when it was released. In 1999, the story was a satire of what might have been, but today with all the reality-tv-shows, it is... well... reality. The movie is fun but it also has something to say. Who wants to be famous. It seems like everyone does. But what sort of skeletons would they find in your closet if they followed you, or your family, around 24/7? And is there a voyeur in all of us, since millions of people tune in to watch everyday people do everyday things? And how can we have such strong opinions about people we only know from TV? In the EDtv, the viewers have opinions about Ed's ... Read More:

VHS : Goodbye Lover [1999]
As I looked through the reveiws for the films that came under the category 'Dermot Mulroney' nobody had very good responces! But in this terrfic movie his greatness shines through! He plays Jake an alcoholic who's wife Sandra is sleeping with his brother, when he finds out he isn't pleased and since Don his brother is sleeping with someone else neither is his wife Sandra! Together they plot to kill Don and what will happen you will just have to watch it! This is one of the best movies I've ever seen along side 'My Best Friends wedding' I recomend this film to everyone! Dermot Mulroney rules!
