I've watched this film at least 10 times. It's simply hilarious. It's not actually taking the mickey out of Star Trek, rather a tribute to the actors who play in Star Trek. One of the funniest and definitely the most underrated comedy films out there. You need to watch this film a few times to catch all the jokes so it's a perfect DVD purchase. There are so many classic moments such as the captain getting his shirt ripped Captain Kirk style and the Klingon types in the toilet at the Trekkie conference.

At the end of the movie, we are told that most of the story is based on fact, but the gaps were educated guesses. Unfortunately this got me wondering which parts were guesses.

A shock a minute, this film gripped me from start to finish, i grimaced, i smiled, i jumped in shock, in fact i went through many emotions because this is the type of film which will really move you. recommended.
