Going into this movie, my expectations were pretty low to begin with considering it's incredibly rare for film franchises to remain fresh and original with sequels, but "American Wedding" managed to surprise me by being even worse than I had originally expected. This movie was so bad, that when it was over, I contemplated all the different ways I could have better spent those 2 hours. Some of my ideas included planting a tree, reading a book, or finally getting that rash on my backside checked out! The jokes were lame and predictable and the plot (or what passed for one) was tired and uninspired. I mean, who wants to see these sophomoric characters married?! This is a pretty good film, there's some good basketball, plus some bits of comedy too. Although you have some well known actors like Robert Forster, Eugene Levy and Crispin Glover in the film they are used sparingly and when they are it's not to great effect. As an adult I'd probably say that this is just an okay film and give it 2 stars, but I'm sure that kids would enjoy this more, hence the three stars, a good performance by the kid who plays Mike who for me was very much the star of the film. I do have to agree though that it is a predictable film, but I'm sure the kids won't worry about that.

American Pie 2 wasn't as funny as the first Pie movie (how could you top a guy getting caught by his dad having intimate relations with an apple pie!).And it's nowhere near as funny as another film about college students like Road Trip which has one of the American Pie Stars in it (seann william scott who plays stifler).But it's worth seeing if you've got 90 minutes to spare.These Pie films are successful because the characters remain likeable despite saying and doing such gross things.And that's why the writers can get away with throwing in some romantic moments between the boys and girls that we, the viewers, can take seriously.

This is one of the most excellent film I have ever seen, it's the first time that I've seen a movie with Mary -Kate and Ashley but I liked them immediately,their acting is very splendid,I laughed all through the film. I think the girls make everyone find their cheerful self. A must!!

Ahhh, I was so excited to relive the nostalgia, and watch some cool deleted scenes and a 'making of', but alas, what a let down. Yes, this was a great film when I was 15, and maybe even in my 'partying' 20s, but Im afraid the animation feels so dated, the stories are just adolescent and plain now. Its nice to see Mobeius and Corbin again, and some funny huge breasted women but the wobbly animation looks drawn by artists not animators. Worse so, theres really only one deleted scene, which turned out to be what would of been one of the coolest stories/animations (what were they thinking!?) The making of was hardly that, more like old farts trying to sell this movie again and reliving their stoner days.... where was any of the art design and actual 'making of'?!? The ... Read More:
