This video was just what I needed. I only wish I could get it on DVD, as I've watched it so many times.!! Geoff Hamilton was a great gardener and he showed me what to plant and how to keep the plants alive. Great step by step plans.

I found it very inspiring, as it shows a number of examples of how people have improved their gloomy gardens. The video is divided up into sections covering different topics such as "planting under trees", "hostas" etc. In the fairly brief 30-minute running time, there are loads of practical tips and plant suggestions to help you cope with shady situations. I was also delighted to have the chance to see the late Geoff Hamilton in action. What a great communicator he was!
