VHS : While You Were Sleeping [1995]
This film is a true romantic comedy classic! All the characters are loveable-especially the two lead roles played by Bullock and Pullman who are both funny and believable. However the film is also successful as a result of many of the smaller comic characters from the Callaghan family and Lucy's friends (especially the cringe-worthy Joe Jr and the loveable Saul) The film is set at christmas which adds a certain magic to the story but is a great watch all year round. Full of fun and romance with a beautiful soundtrack-it is perfect night in movie for all and sure to cause a few tears!!!
Watch and fall in love...

Barely escaping from his botched burglary of a fancy house, Gus (played by Denis Leary) quickly finds a place to hideout from the police. But, this is no quiet haven for Gus, the Chasseurs are on the brink of divorce and are at each other's throats, and Gus quickly finds himself playing referee. Can Gus find away to escape the police dragnet and get cleanly away? Or, will the Chasseurs drive him totally insane! [Color, released in 1994, with a running time of 1:33.]

Overall, I found this a very funny movie. Judy Davis and Kevin Spacey bounce off each other hilariously, and I loved seeing Glynis Johns again (she still has it!). Now, while there is no ... Read More:

It's Jolly Olde England, Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon are on the throne, and royal marriages are made to strengthen political ties. Henry wants to cement an alliance with France by marrying his sister Mary to the aged King Louis XII, even though the spunky, flirtatious Mary has set her cap on Charles Brandon, a commoner. Henry prevails, of course, after promising that should Louis die, Mary can then wed anyone of her choosing. As luck would have it, Louis dies a mere two months later, she marries Brandon, and they live happily ever after.

While ignoring any distasteful details about Henry VII, this 1953 Disney drama tells a simple and basically true story and showcases the talented and über-perky Glynis Johns who plays the headstrong princess. ... Read More:
