VHS : Six Million Dollar Man, The / The Bionic Woman [1975]
I would rate this highly as the best episodes from The Six Million Dollar Man series besides The Secrets of Bigfoot, The Seven Million Dollar Man (they just released both these episodes) and a part of Kill Oscar (when are they going to release this?). The episodes titled The Bionic Woman Part 1 & 2 is the introduction of Jamie Sommers as the world first bionic lady. High school sweetheart of Colonel Steve Austin finds herself falling in love again with her man and went through a series of romance and mishap that eventually led her to bionic consequences. A great love story, touching at the end (a real tear jerker) with great acting by Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner! This is the difference with the past action/sci-fi series, they have good ... VHS : Stephen King's IT [1990]
This film requires a slightly sick mind but is a fantastic film. It's pure evil and has the perfect evil figure in it. I would recommend this to any horror movie fans. A classic film from Stephen King. A slightly disappointing ending but otherwise a top film. I will always have a fear of clowns now and avoid them if I see them. Listen to the drains if when you walk past them on the street. You may hear an evil clown laugh!

VHS : WWF - Wrestlemania 5 [1989]
If like me you have been a fan of the WWF for ever then WM5 is a must have. Although it is not the best Mania by far on the theory that all the matches are far too short it is definitely vintage wwf with all the big stars.

The main event where the Mega powers"Explode" is more of just a Fizzle. Randy Savage spends most of the match beating the hulkster only for Hogan to Kick out of the Flying elbow and then
Pin savage within 60 seconds even though he only uses 3 moves to beat the Macho Man! Very dissapointing Finish.

The rest of the card is ok quite a good match between The Warrior and Rick Rude for the IC title but could The Weasle really hold down the Warrior? The Tag title between Demolition and the Powers of Pain with Mr ... Read More:

VHS : Forbidden Planet [1956]
In the 23 century a rescue ship is sent to the planet Altar to look for survivors of an earlier expatiation. They find nothing except an ominous voice warning them not to land. What would you do?

Notice that the investigating party is the captain, first officer, and medical doctor. Can your say Star Trek?

This movie has many plusses as both sociological (people like to compare this to Shakespeare's "The Tempest"). Visual from the color of the sky to the accoutrements of Altiara (Anne Francis). The speculation on what would you do in this situation. And the introduction of Robby the robot who went on to be a star in other movies and a guest on many TV programs.

The movie was great I watch it over and again. However ... Read More:

This is a really good film in all aspects. If you watch it simply as a very well produced film version of a fictional book, it is great to sit back and admire the quality of the work.

Some reviewers however do appear to have been misled into believing that the plot in some way matches the facts of the actual events of the famous Stopes trial. This is the fault of the book and misleading information over the years rather than the film per se, although there is no more attempt to inform the viewer of the film of this than there is the reader of the original play. if you have any doubt about the disparity between this fiction and the facts, watch the film, research the details of the actual people involved and read the genuine trial transcripts (everything ... VHS : And Then There Were None [1945]
8 people are invited to a remote island "Indian Island" mansion by their host Mr. U. N. Owen; two people are already there as the butler and cook, a husband and wife team. Once there they find that their mysterious host has accused each of murder and commences to dispatch the guests in the order of a song of Ten Little Indians. Finding that they are cut off from the outside world they must find Mr. Owen and neutralize him before they are all dispatched. If it gets down to the last two you have a pretty good idea who it is.

All the clues are present; can you detect whodunit and why?

Pretty well acted version of an Agatha Christie classic. Everyone remembers this standard movie version "And Then There Were None" (1945) with Barry Fitzgerald. Several other attempts were ... Read More:

VHS : Solomon And Sheba [1959]
First off, this was not made by MGM (it's a United Artists film) and Tyrone Power cannot be scene in the battle
sequences. He is only visible in one shot of the trailer. It is interesting to speculate on what the film would
have been like with Power but, the truth is, in existing photos from the first version he looks too old for the part. Yul Brynner was an excellent choice to replace him and does a wonderful job in the role. Gina Lollobrigida is unbelievably beautiful as Sheba and wears some of the most revealing costumes in a film up to that time. This is a large scale and
hugely entertaining motion picture. The UK DVD is by far the best transfer I have ever seen of SOLOMON AND
SHEBA and well worth adding to your collection.
