VHS : The Rescuers (Disney) [1977]
I write these reviews for the Disney classic's not as I have something short to do, but as I re-discovered all my old Disney tapes under my bed, in practical mint condition too. And so, for the 3rd Sunday night in succession, I continued to go back to my childhood!
The Rescuers is perhaps Disney's finest example of how to warm your heart without the perils of 'Disney-fication' (in other words, very cheesey!). But not only this, it may have been a peak for the innocence of the audience at the time. I say this only because I'm disillusioned with kids films these days that rely on 'a joke a minute' to make it a hit. And indeed, critics these days do review Pixar/Disney films of humour - not quality of the outcome.
And for this, The Rescuers puts most ... Read More:

VHS : The Sins [2000]
As suggested, this is an entire series, consisting of 7 episodes on 2 cassettes, which covers each of the 7 deadly sins. A quite wonderful series, whether a fan of Pete P. or otherwise. The writing for starters is truly inspired/ & inspiring, touching on many subjects entirely connected with being a human being...subjects that matter, like love, death, friendship, family. Combine such emotive language with the delivery from a brilliant cast of actors & actresses(or are both just termed actors these days?), & you`ll be weeping like Niagra Falls. So, plenty of loo-roll is mandatory. Well worth the price-tag.

5.Alice In Wonderland (1951) (Disney) starring: Kathryn Beaumont, Ed Wynn, Richard Haydn, Sterling Holloway, Jerry Colonna

VHS : Alice In Wonderland (1951) (Disney)
First time i saw this movie i was about 6 or 7 years old and it became one of my favorite cartoons.
Then i watched it last night (Im 24 now) and it was more intresting than the first time.
I think Alice in Wonderland is a pure acid trip story, check the colors, voices, the worm with the bong and that mushroom (Magic mushroom maybe) she ate that made her big and small ??????? and also that weird cat.
This movie is made in a way that makes any one who watches it love it.

6.Montana [1949] starring: Errol Flynn, Alexis Smith, S.Z. Sakall, Douglas Kennedy, James Brown (II)
directed by: Raoul Walsh, Ray Enright

VHS : Montana [1949]
This film is fun! Errol is starting to look a bit ragged but he still has that old charisma which is what this film is all about. He sings too! The action is good, the story surprisingly original but is let down by a weak ending.

7.Lord Of The Flies [1990] starring: Balthazar Getty, Chris Furrh, Danuel Pipoly, James Badge Dale, Andrew Taft (II)
directed by: Harry Hook
August 12, 1992
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

The other reviews say it all.Buy the orignal Peter Brook film which is faithful to the book. In fact seeing it acted out in the original film is even more chilling.

This is a shallow travesty which you should not waste your money on.
