Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Hes back the man behind the mask and hes outta control
This is definetly the best friday the 13th movie i have ever saw and the first i saw.The film begins with Tommy Jarvis as he is having hullucinations about Jason he dosent think he is dead so he and his mate go to destroy his body but fail and Jason goes on the loose again..

This is a must have for all friday fans

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - AN ENTERTAINING EDITION IN THE FRIDAY THE 13th SERIES
Tommy Jarvis wants to see for himself that Jason is really dead. On the other hand, digging up Jason's grave and essentially freeing him (since Tommy doesn't believe that Jason can be killed) doesn't exactly strike me as the best course of action. What was he planning to do, collect Jason's teeth and go check his dental records? At any rate, at least there is some thought put into an interesting way to bring Jason back to life, at least long enough to kill enough kids to fill up another movie.

Tommy digs Jason up and then stabs his decayed corpse with a nearby fencepost, which is promptly struck by lightning thus bringing Jason back to life. It was earlier in this scene in the movie that someone utters the line, "Some folks have ... Read More:

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - same old same old.
There is really nothing to distinguish one "jason" film from the other, so i'm only going to review this one.
Judging by this, it's the same old thing yet again; no originality or fresh ideas to be found anywhere. silly dialogue, cardboard characters, excessive violence and no plot to speak of.
The main problem is in the form of jason; as a screen villain, he has none of the qualities of his contemporaries; where michael myers specialized in being quite frightening, freddy krueger was an expert in having endless personality; everything he did, he did it with relish.
Sadly, jason has none of the above. As far as he's concerned, it's just business as usual.
Strictly by-the-numbers, i only recommend this if you are a fan ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - best in the series
If you have or havn't seen any other friday the 13th's you should have a great time watching this one. this is, no doubt one of the very best in the series. the horror doesnt hold out as much as the earlier films but the plot is very good and makes up for the lack of scares, although you may find yourself jumping out your seat at times. the beggining to the film is streight to the point, tommy and his friend going to dig up jasons body and the film instantly kicks off with no pointless conversations or reunions.

this film is unique from the others as the camera films jason alot while he is on the move, from a sidewards angle rather than a first person view where you could be missing out. this film has some great effects, a great ... Read More:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Jason's finally back
It's great I like the opening sequence quite daft but great. The Film also has some great Alice Cooper songs and we finally have the police fighting Jason.
My only negative comment on this film is the ending I mean what a very crummy ending.
