VHS : Little Shop Of Horrors [1987]
I watched this at an early age and I still love it now and sing along to the songs as much as I ever did! With a geeky Rick Moranis and a scary Steve Martin, this film doesn't fail to please.
Although it looks like a kids film younger children might be a bit worried by the man-eating plant . . .however my kids love it ( little gore-hunters that they are!) Its bright colours and cheesy songs are the perfect antidote to a boring sunday afternoon!!!

VHS : Brother Bear [2003]
Brother Bear is a wonderful animation - it isn't violent and it has the right balance between comedy and drama. The storyline is engaging and the characters and some of the cameos in this film are hysterical. This is a film for all the family and it is a truly wonderful children's animation combined with Phil Collins' musicianship that brings the film to life. Highly enjoyable.

VHS : Ghostbusters [1984]
'Ghostbusters' is an ironic, tongue in cheek comedy from the eighties and although the effects look dated, the humour and fun has not. Bill Murray has some great lines and performs them in his usual dead pan way and Rick Moranis is as gawky and geeky as he is in all his films. The plot is pretty silly, but considering it's not trying to be too serious it's best to suspend disbelief and sit back and enjoy the fun. This film spawned many spin offs, from a cartoon, a sequel and a host of toys (which I loved playing with as a kid!) and you can see why, some of the characters are iconic looking back (The Stay Paft marshmallow man and slimer to name two). A good, fun film that should keep you watching and entertained and makes you want to watch the slightly ... Read More:

VHS : Honey, I Blew Up The Kid [1993]
When Honey, I Shrunk The Kids came around, it was a cinematic great, being one of the best-selling films in the late 80s, flash forwards to 1992 and it's sequel was this and holds true to the edict of films being that the sequel never betters the original.

Here we follow the Szalinski family after another accident with the ray, this time enlarging their new addition to the family, their toddler. What ensues is a chase after the child to Las Vegas after being found to be prone to electromagnetic disruption, causing any eletcrical to act arkwardly.

The film suffers from bad scripting and relying heavily on slapstick jokes to make up for what is a patchy plot upon what already was a thin storyline, borrowing a lot from its predecessor.
