VHS : Lady And The Tramp 2 - Scamp's Adventure [2001]
Lady and the Tramp two is the best! It is really good, and the animation is brilliant. It makes a big empression on yourself after you finish watching it. What is that person on the other review on about? It does so say the names of Lady and Tramp's three girl puppies! Look at the credits! Annette, Colette and Danielle! Love the characters and the songs are wonderful and perfect for all the family! It makes you feel wanted and learn
to appreciate your family, not just take them for granted.

*&* Love it! It's definatly better the Little Mermaid 2

VHS : White Squall [1996]
I owned this film on laserdisc - who remembers that format? - when it was first released. I thought it to be one of Ridley Scott's least interesting films - more or less an inferior retread of Dead Poets Society, in the vein of the equally unoriginal Dangerous Minds and Scent Of A Woman. There is a bit of eye-candy in the experience, though; both the landscape and the comely boys are rather easy on the eyes. And Ridley Scott knows how to compose his shots. So far, so average.

This DVD version of the film, however, is a cropped print of the original 2,35:1 original. My original laserdisc version offered less resolution, but the picture was immensely better. The DVD version is cropped down to about 1,85:1, i.e. standard 16:9, and it ... Read More:

VHS : Double Dragon
This film is a cinematic masterpiece. It has everything you could possibly want; A-list academy award winning actors like Mike Drascosascosascosascos, some excellent and believable kung-fu scenes and the most impressive special effects in history. Also this film teaches you a lot of lessons. For instance not many people know that it is scientifically possible for twin brothers to be of different races. I think they should have had Whoopi Goldberg play their mother in order to reinforce this message.

The acting? All top class - the academy awards are well deserved.

The plot? Very cleverly done. It is so complicated that only an elite group of individuals (the producers) realise it exists at all.

The set design? Immaculately ... Read More:

VHS : Go / Dazed And Confused [1999]
This great value double set comprises Richard Linklater's 'Dazed & Confused' (1993) & Doug Liman's 'Go' (1999)- both films showing youth in abandon.

Go, I feel, is slightly overlooked- a lot of people criticising it as its structure is similar to 'Pulp Fiction'; did anyone point out Pulp Fiction's structure was remarkably similar to Jim Jarmusch's Mystery Train (1989, features Joe Strummer & Steve Buscemi)? Personally I prefer it to PF, as it isn't grounded in dated intertextual odes to earlier works of cinema & it has the same rapid pace as Run Lola Run (also 1999 & another triptych, of sorts).

The first story sees a drug deal go wrong, the second a road trip to Las Vegas (recalling a similar one in Liman's debut Swingers, ... Read More:

VHS : Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star [2004]
what we have here kids is a fantastic feel good film that lets david spade be his usual loveable self and play around with other child actors!!!
the general gist is that dickie was great as a kid and then lost it when he grew up...he then has another chance at fame if he can get into the new rob reiner film...the downside is that he needs to experience childhood so he hires a family to put him through his childhood for him
a very silly idea i know but that is how this film works....its very silly and not much else!!! its great fun and fantastic entertainment
if you want something lighter that you and the kids will be able to enjoy then this is worth a shot!!!

VHS : Go [1999]
In choosing a story structure which is similar to "Pulp Fiction", Doug Liman's film has been unfairly compared to Tarantino's work. In actual fact the two movies have almost nothing in common, apart from both being excellent pieces of work. Liman's direction is faultless, John August's script is packed with wit and imagination, and the ensemble cast is a dream. I really cannot say anything negative about this film. You have to see it!
