As long-standing Chris Rea fans we bought this CD not really knowing what to expect. We quickly grew to love it and it is great for playing loudly in the car. I used it in 2 dance displays at school and the track "Horses" was so popular that the pupils asked for it many times. It shows Chris Rea at his best - a brilliant fusion of classical, pop and melodic music.

I really love execution films and this is one of the very best, probably only behind The Green Mile in my opinion. Susan Sarandon quite rightly won an Academy award for her performance in this film and after just watching Nicholas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas, I simply can not believe that Sean Penn did not join her in picking up the award himself, they are both simply breathtaking, showing a very wide range of all-round acting skills. This is much more about the convict (Sean Penn) going through various stages as his time of execution approaches, from anger, to sorrow and acceptance of the the punishment he faces due to the crime that he committed. This is maybe my favourite of the three Emmerdale video specials. This special sees Paddy taking Mandy on a surprise honeymoon to Venice, but with Zak, Butch and Marlon having to follow them after a visit from the police. While there, they find an Italian relative running a restaurant/bar which is under threat of takeover by intimidation. The story is excellently written with high drama combined with great comedy, a great location, the music score with a variation of tunes (including a Bond theme) and brilliant performances from the Italian cast as well as our Emmerdale favourites.
