The man who wrote "The Usual Suspects" would be expected to deliver well, and he did. This is a terrific, tense and blazing film. The acting is strong and the script a harse, tense ride. This is a great movie & superb entertainment.

I have read the book, which contains much more than the film, but nevertheless the film is great!! Beautiful Angela Basset, handsome Taye diggs make a good looking couple. The scence with Whoppy on the hill is my favourite, saying "God is here". Also great music which fits to each scene! And the magnificant Half Moon Hotel, where I have been myself is the perfect location for this romantic love story. All together, I never watched a movie as often as this,and will watch it over and over again,cause everytime I see it, it makes me feel so high...and as the soundtrack sings free... Feel free, and be free. True and heartshaking like life itself...

Showed this film and they absolutely loved it. This film is very funny and entertaining but says a lot about brotherhood and friendship. I thought the acting was very credible, although I didn't really rate Taye Diggs in this role.

So here comes Malibu's Most Wanted, starring and co-written by Jamie Kennedy, along with some other names which I had never heard of either. It's not entirely unfunny. But it should be a lot funnier. Making amusing jokes about a white boy who thinks he’s black should be like hitting the side of a barn, so when a whole film based on such a premise is released, you expect something special to justify the effort. In choosing a story structure which is similar to "Pulp Fiction", Doug Liman's film has been unfairly compared to Tarantino's work. In actual fact the two movies have almost nothing in common, apart from both being excellent pieces of work. Liman's direction is faultless, John August's script is packed with wit and imagination, and the ensemble cast is a dream. I really cannot say anything negative about this film. You have to see it!

Okay, I may be a guy but I like this film, I saw it principally for one reason; Domonique Swain, but when I saw the film I saw many other layers to a fantastic storyline. The conclusion was both predictable and unpredictable. Though Ms Swain is still the love of my life, I watch this mainly for the plot. Like I usually say it is well worth renting this film first, there will be those who won't like it.
