VHS : High Crimes [2002]
Before you've seen a frame of this film you've already seen it. It follows a set pattern/formula and doesn't even bother coming up with an interesting twist from out of left field to justify its existence.

If you're actively seeking out an average middle of the road thriller then you should like it. If you're wanting something good then don't waste your time on this. I expected it to be deeply unremarkable so I'm not disappointed as I got exactly what I was expecting.

If the film had a few more "action" scenes (by action I mean scenes of jeopardy), better drawn characters and a more imaginative ending then I would give it three stars. As it is I found it to be slightly boring and it leaned a bit too heavily on obvious ... Read More:

Not as good as the other three dead films because it had a low budget and romero was not involved but highly enjoyable and fun with some great zombie action bits and i thought it was better than land of the dead which was a huge dissapointment

VHS : I'll Be Seeing You [1944]
Like the scent of perfume a girl from our youth wore, so this film is etched in the hearts of all who have seen it, only to be recalled with fondness when something small, like that special feminine fragrance, touches our senses and brings back memories. Until now, this is all we had. Fortunately, and at last, we can visit this wonderful film with Ginger Rogers and Joseph Cotton anytime we want, as after decades of waiting, it is now available to us.

Based on a radio play by Charles Martin, this sweet and sentimental story very much has that involving feel many of the classy productions brought to the airwaves by Lux Radio Theatre had. It benefits greatly from the direction of William Dieterle, who allows the simple story to unfold in a natural way, ... Read More:

In the sequel to Die Hard, John McClane is in trouble again when a group of criminals take control of an airport to bring an evil General safely and discreetly into the country.

After the success of the first, a sequel was inevitable and the action, the claustrophobia and most importantly, John McClane were all still there.

Bruce Willis (The Sixth Sense) has made John McClane into the ultimate male action hero, with a slick and sarcastic attitude towards life, and most importantly bad guys, and improvising a lot of his own work has made McClane an icon in the genre.

The support cast are also on top form, and provide plenty of tension to justify the scenarios, not to mention the extra humour they bring to the plot.

VHS : Hearts In Atlantis [2002]
Nostalgic coming of age film in 50s undercurrent America.
Mr Hoskins acting very retired in this.
Story needed more bulk obviously cut corners and depth from original story
Quiet, easy to watch, will not need to view again, lazy sort of film.
Not nearly as good as coming of age film "Stand by me"
