This is a terrific movie for young children and anyone who loves animals. The film is about Gordy, a super cute and lovable piglet who sets out on an adventure to save his family from the slaughterhouse. The movie delivers a moral message about respecting life, but nevertheless features several funny moments (such as a fashion shoot with Gordy dressed up in various outfits). Although there is a fair share of cheesy country music in this film, it doesn't really detract from its entertainment value if you don't take it too seriously. My 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son both loved this movie, and have watched it several times.
